Allies

One of our core ideas is to invite collaboration, because the work grows through it. By working with allies, Mahanak becomes more than a place to visit; it becomes a site for learning and exchange. Universities and artists engage the area through project-based work rooted in its history and community, from short film initiatives and research-led coursework to photography and printmaking workshops. We will continue building these collaborations, gradually reintroducing Mahanak to a wider audience as a living platform for creativity and learning.

January 11, 2026, was a meaningful day for Mahanak. The National Traveling Artists program brought together over 200 participants—from kindergarteners to elders over 60—to create alongside eight of Thailand’s top masters. It was a humble reminder that our stories and heritage deserve to be told through art, poetry, and performance.
