The exhibition “1970 New Anatomy of Mahori”, which revisits an experiment in miniaturising Thai musical instruments—born from the “vision” and the “master craftsmanship” of Prince Bhanubandhu Yugala and Master Tuen Phattayakul. Their collaboration produced a uniquely charming Mahori ensemble: petite, endearing, and resonating with a distinct character—bright and childlike in contrast to the fuller, more mature tone of standard-sized Thai instruments. “Music as sweet and delightful as celestial sound.” — M.R. Kukrit Pramoj, Siam Rath, 21 September 1971
